When we first check in, the key card system wouldn't work, they had to walk out and let us into our room.
Save your money and go somewhere else. Checked in no towels in room and went to front desk and asked for them never shows up. Had to use two had towels. Ran out of toilet paper again none to be found. Went to grab at least a cup of coffee and you guess it no coffee. Told them they say they quit serving after 9am. It's just coffee everyone has at least coffee. Nope not them. We will go across town before we stay here agin. Also half the rooms are being renovated so good luck on getting a finished room.
The price was good and they always have rooms available. LOL Go figure.
I have a mixed review for this hotel. We stayed for about 2 months as a result of work. They are pet friendly which is really helpful and the staff is really nice. There were different managers when we got there than when we left and they have different styles but overall the staff is friendly. When we first checked in Star was our housekeeper and she is great! Some of the newer people are more inconsistent in checking in with stay over guests. As far as the room itself, you get what you pay for- you are not at the Hilton so don't ask for Hilton amenities. What you do get is a reasonably sized clean room with a microwave and refrigerator. We had some difficulties with the plumbing that I ended up having to fix myself which wasn't exactly ideal however with the amount of maintenance needed at that hotel (broken stairs, green pool water, hot water issues) and only one maintenance person, it's difficult to hold this against them. Overall the place seems to be improving. The only other note is that there is a former long time guest who seems to be harassing the other long time guests and the hotel doesn't seem to be doing much to get rid of this person which is unlikely to be a pleasant experience for most one time visitors. Overall, not bad. The place needs some work but it seems to be moving in the right direction.
The first room we checked into had NO AC, so we had to move to another room after some attitude from the staff attendant.
This is the most disgusting place I've ever been. I had to spend a fortune on bug sprays. Yes, sprays. ..OFF for the mosquitoes in the room and another for flying insects. Luckily I brought my own blanket because I used the only towell to sit on the bed. It's that nasty. I asked for another towell to wipe up the insecticides I sprayed and was told they only had a bath mat. Only 1! At least the bug sprays have helped. I don't have the extra money to go to another hotel because my cheap ass company only allows me so much a week. This place is bad but the staff was extremely nice and not surprised when I had an issue with the room. Sharron, I believe was her name was extremely nice.
Great customer service. For an older motel, it's rather quaint. Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. The gal at the front desk, Sharon, was very knowledgeable about the area. Could use a restaurant, closer.
They where relay bad!!! Had no wash towels in our room the whole time. The last day stay we had NO toilet paper.
