Friendly lady at check in. Rooms very old! I was shocked when she handed me an actual key to get in my room. Stayed on 2nd floor and can hear so many creaks when walking, very thin. Pool all messed up and can't use it. Room was clean but very hot when getting in. It was 103° that afternoon. So called front desk to tell how hot it was. Was told they just turned on the a/c to give it time to cool down. Wasn't cool with that espcially how hot it was. Basically I would not spend $80 to stay there again.
Great value. Clean and staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling through Abilene.
The front desk help was really good and the rate was good but the bathroom was full of ants. The bathtub had flying ants crawling all over it. They did not tell us the pool was closed. It looked like it was a permanent situation. Nasty cloth covering the pool that have collapsed and stagnant water at the bottom. They need to take the pool off of the details and description of the property. Breakfast was not very good. Two out of three in our party skipped it. Just cereal. orange juice was fake orange citrus punch. Who drinks that?
Decent rooms, decent price. Don't bother bringing the swimsuit, pool is always drained.
Parking for one truck if you get here early. Staff will check you in early if room is available. Quiet and a/c working great.
