I have been staying at this hotel for the past 12 years. They have always treated me wonderful. But on my last visit there the staff went above and be on the call duty to make sure my family was taken care of. I would always recommend this hotel to anybody in the Abilene area.
Comfortable and adequate for the price point. Front lobby smells like smoke but the room was clean and tidy with no odor. Breakfast was basic but well stocked. Front desk ladies nice and professional. Good for one night stay while passing through town.
The absolute worst service ever. Staff so rude that I called the Best Western Hotel Corporate Offices and made a complaint. I rarely do this, but this hotel was the one time I did call the corporate offices. I had a stomach bug and wanted to cancel my reservation as not to have an accident and mess up the room as I was "going from both ends" and needed the trash can to throw up while on the toilet. They told me that I'd be charged extra to clean up the room if I didn't make it to the bathroom or messed up the bathroom. They told me that I'd be charged for "damages" to the room! I cancelled anyway and lost my deposit (which was the entire day charge and I was only staying for one day). I'll never make a reservation at Best Western AGAIN!!!
This Best Western was an excellent place to stay, and it was priced very reasonably, too. The room was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. Breakfast was good--I'd have added a wider selection of fresh fruits and more whole wheat options to make it even better. The receptionist gave us a good restaurant recommendation for dinner.
I had no choice on floor I got since no reservation & late walk in. Stuck on smoker floor. Breakfast was nice & room was comfortable clean. Happy Bout commercial parking lot however there isn't any cameras on it.
