Dirty. Filthy. Gross. Scorpions everywhere. Smoke detector ripped out of the ceiling. Glow in the dark writing all over the walls an mirror. Cord missing out of the room phone. Bed sheets an blankets had stains all over them. Lamp shades were torn all to pieces.
I have stayed in worse places but for the price it ain't bad....does have a smell but don't most economical motels? That's why I cary candles and frabrize.....
I love this location! The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was beyond accommodating! Everything we wanted to do was close by, making our vacation full of activities. Can't wait to come back!
We played a show at My Place, the bar attached to the hotel. It was a great time. So glad to have found this place
I am very happy with the service and courtesy received at Royal Inn of Abilene. I booked via Priceline with a nice discount that fit my limited budget. Upon arriving I asked if I might inspect the room first and the lady did not have any issue at all with that request. Also my husband currently had two broken feet and needed a handicapped access room. She looked for the right room for us and gave me a key so I could inspect the room before booking or paying. Afterwards (and the room was clean, brightly lite and large) the check in process was easy. I liked the friendly staff and beware there is a cookie factory close by and the smell of freshly baked brownies was enticing as well. Honestly, I will be using this motel each time I need to come to Abilene for our church conferences.
