At check in everything was great even the front desk staff. The room was good. The the next morning I sent my daughter to the front desk because we needed toilet paper and the front desk staff told me that I would have to wait until house keeping came to get it. Then I called the front desk and asked what time house keeping come in and she stated 10am and at that time it was about 830a or 845a. Then she stated I could take hers that was in her restroom. I've stayed here before and everything was great but the front desk staff on Sunday morning was not professional. Ms. Myra is a great GM and the lady at the front desk Saturday evening was also great.
Our room was not ready. Even after being told that it would be ready by 3pm. We showed up @ 4:30 pm & had to wait another 20 minutes outside of the room. The pillows & bedding had hair & dirt. We were getting ready for bed when we found this out. We decided to go to Wal-Mart to buy some bedding. The a.c. turned on but never cooled the room. The lady at the front desk seemed as though I bothered her by showing up at 2pm to check in. She mentioned a few times how the room wouldn't be ready until 3. When I said that I just wanted to check in she again mentioned the time it would be ready. Her speaking tone was one of contempt. A little bit of a bad attitude. Not very comforting which is why we decided to go buy our own bedding instead of complaining to the front desk. I was tired & just didn't want to deal with it. We were only there for one night.
Now for the not-so-good part...
Your housekeepers were quite loud outside, literally yelling at one another across the parking lot in the early evening. It was not a pleasant experience.
clean, but then I pulled down the blanket and sheet and found dead cockroaches in the bed. There were also a lot of bug parts on the floor and each time I walked from the sink area to the bed, I had to clean the bug stuff off my feet. I would suggest to the cleaning crew to do a better job of sweeping the floors. The rest of the room was clean. Another wash towel and hand towel would be a nice touch.
We stayed in a double room and on first night had only one towel. Went to office and asked for some but said had to wait until next day when housekeeping was there. Housekeeping never came to door. We always had to go to them and ask for stuff. Phone in room did not work. We had to switch it out ourselves when a housekeeper was in a room and then that one didn't ring. Only flashed a light. They were doing maintenance/construction and heard banging all through day. Can understand that but that is something we should have been told about upfront. We may have chosen different room or motel. When you walked on the floors in room feet got very dirty from day one. Need a better way to clean floors.
We plan on never staying there again. I guess the old adage is true: You do get what you paid for.......
There was a lot of wasp activity outside the door as well.
Great stay. Front desk clerk was very nice. My dogs liked the open area next to the hotel.
Good luck with things. Your business needs a huge upgrade. I will choose another place to stay next time.
The room I was in (226) seemed
Your front desk clerk (young lady with brown hair and glasses) was very friendly and helpful.
