1. My apartment was not ready on the move in date I was given.
Having said that, Abilene's apartment market is not the best, and the options are limited. So overall it is an OK/ mediocre place, and ok for temporary residence
The worse is even though I was flexible with the above issues, when time came for me to move out, I asked the front office staff to come and walk through the apartment prior to me handing off my keys to let me know if there was anything that needed further "cleaning." and they refused. The stated they will only do one and final walk through and ended charging me a significant amount of money when I handed my keys over.
I was (am) billed about $900 for changing a 10 year old carpet.
3. The carpet was poorly installed with nails at the end sticking out scratching your foot
My experience at Residence at Heritage park was below par and unsatisfactory.
2. The bathroom still had dirty shower uncleaned from the previous residents
We lived here for a total of one year, it was a very nice and safe area. Maintenance was very quick to address any issues, never had any issues with noisy or disrespectful neighbors, the pool was an awesome amenity, and the apartments are clean and up to date. Our only complaints were the lack of parking spaces anywhere close to your building, people not picking up after their pets (tenant issue), and a lot of hidden fees or up charges when it's time to receive your deposit back (don't count on anything).
I love it here and I've stayed in multiple apartments. I've had some small issues that I had to get mantiance out for to fix. And with in the day they had it fixed in both situations. Also they are very clean and quite. Every one that works here will go way out of there way to help you out. If you want a family friendly quite clean apartment I promise you will love these.
The worst place you can imagine. They treat their residence terrably and don't care at all. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Love being here with my family .. I have enjoyed staying here .. I will continue to stay here for a while ..
