The first time I went in to this place was for a quote, the lady working there, Georgia, quoted me $17.99 for a package. During the whole discussion she moved up the price to $22.99, I figured, since she was an older lady I would just pay the $22.99 price and not remind her about the first quote. She asked for a zip code for these quoted prices by the way. The lady seemed a little cold, not a people person and came off as a little rude but the price was reasonable and cheaper than UPS by far. Anyways, when I got my package ready, I brought in my own tape and my box and took it in this second time. Georgia was her usual cold self and when she was helping put the tape on she put these EXTREMELY small pieces of tape on my box and expected that to hold, she got upset when I pointed out I had my daughters childhood pictures in this box and that those pieces of tape wouldn't hold a box like this together. After the package was done and I was getting ready to pay she told me the total for this package (tax excluded) was $29.99...so that's a whole $12.99 difference from the ORIGINAL price. She told me because I didn't give her my address and only the zip code that is the reason the price was up. I explained that she was the one to ask for the zip code when quoting the price and that she never asked for an address, I would have provided that. She had such an attitude and I explained that I thought she was being rude, then her son approached from the back office and yelled, "WHAT DID YOU CALL HER?!" I explained that she was being rude and he proceeded to yell, "get out of here!!!!" he also tried to make me pay for the tape I brought in on my own! This place may be a few bucks cheaper but for the service and the way they make their customers feel, I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to someone who has customer service. I run my own business and I know I would never treat my customers the way that this family treated me.
I want to say how wonderful Ship N Go and Georgia Haney are. We visited the area last weekend and forgot something. They were wonderful to ship it back. If I lived in the area, I would use your services for all my needs!! Thank you again Georgia! I will always remember your kindness!
I had a great experience with Ship N Go. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. They really bent over backwards to carefully pack and send my package to an oddball international destination by DHL (and did it for $50 cheaper than UPS or FedEx would have). They later even helped resolve a mix-up with the recipient's contact information which was really my fault. Several regular customers came in while I was in the office and it was clear that they too have found Ship N Go to be a great resource. The Ship N Go staff even had the integrity to advise one customer to not buy the expensive insurance he was considering for a low-risk package. I was really impressed. Thank you, Ship N Go!
