I left my 2 dogs at this kennel for about a week and a half. I have been very apprehensive about kennels since an incident happened about 2 years ago to my dogs at a kennel in NW Florida (now shut down). They were abused and neglected for one week and since then I have been terrified to leave my dogs with any kennel. But when i picked up my dogs from Abilene Pet Regency, they were happy healthy and no scrapes, bruises or mal-nourishment. I will definitely leave my dogs with Abilene Pet Regency again. Thanks so much for the wonderful care.
This place is great. I leave my pup here usually 2 weekends out of the month, also have them groom and bathe her every so often. Kipper (my dog's name) is always so happy to be there, the staff greets her by name, and make sure that I am comfortable with everything before they take her to the back. When I pick her up she is happy and healthy, no scratches or signs of distress (which says a lot, as Kipper has some anxiety, in general, about being left behind). Just a really good experience.
