The doctor was nice. The nurses were very attentive to my needs. I enjoyed the therapy groups and felt like they really helped me. I hope I don't have to get treatment again, but if I do, I will go back to Oceans Abilene. Thank you for helping me get my life back.
I just have been released and i could not have felt better! The place is great if you need a break or are having a breakdown. The only problem i had is with one therapist who got angry if she wasnt in charge.
This is a horrible facility! All this place is, is a drug handout facility. Unless, you stand in line with the other sheep and take your meds you are deemed uncooperative. Then, they will put the gears in motion to MAKE you take their toxic meds.
Sorry, I actually had to give this place at least one star to be able to write this review.
Furthermore, they will not let you leave if you sign an AMA. They take it offensively if you try to leave their human experimentation program. They took me to court to make me stay but they used the wrong law to try to commit me and the Dr (the head Dr over the whole hospital) signed his name to an examination that he himself did not perform. The Judge had to tell the Dr how to do his job.
I won but what about all the people who don't? It is very sad because some of the people in this facility don't have the capability of speaking up for themselves or to know when their rights are being violated or they keep them so drugged up that they don't even know where they are or care what is happening to them!
Awful! Don't take your loved one here!!!! Compassionless lazy nurses. Elderly never get changed. 90 year old women with poop on her hands and crying because she struggled to change herself. Psychiatrist is a psycho Trying to put things in your head. Saying things you never said. Like trying to brain wash you. They promise church services and prayer. YOUR not allowed to talk about Jesus and God. They make you take medicine and don't write it down for your physician and they gave her medicine that she was allergic to even after her warning and sure enough she got very ill.
They are abusive and manipulating they left bruses on my sister's trying to "restrain" her though she went asking for help because she was depressed and suisidal. My sister will never fight at all and also putting you knee on here head cause her to not being able to breath. Worst place to take anyone never come here they are only here to make a profit out of anyone that comes in.
