#poorservice #expensive #evil at its best.
I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and everything I feel with my hands is pure pain.
Will definitely try Hendricks next time. Rude staff at check in, most working there aren’t concerned about patient care. They checked me in as a 5 year old boy instead of a 45 year old female and made me stand around until they could figure out how to fix their mistake (I was the only one there checking in). I begged the nurse to just let me lay down since I was so sick and she wouldn’t see me or let me lay down because the paperwork was wrong. There was one nurse who was nice and she seemed concerned about me feeling better but everyone else was bothered that they had to do their job.
They sued me. Over an $800 bill (for 2 breathing treatments, 2 shots & a CXR due to severe asthma attack). Literally served me papers then didn't show up 2 court which made me lose a day of work! I never got a bill in the mail, a phone call, or anything from them until the suit. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'd rather DIE than go to Regional ever again. Steer clear of this place. Go to Hendricks. Regional is HORRIBLE.
I wonder if it was caught earlier I could still feel everyday things. Like my wives skin or my dogs fur.
My Father was recently hospitalized for 3 weeks in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).. He received the greatest care anyone could ever possibly imagine; His Doctors & Surgeon called me personally after Dad's surgery, as I live in another city and was unable to be there. The wonderful Nursing team were efficient, dedicated, pleasant and ABSOLUTELY accommodating, in making sure that I remained apprised of all medications/procedures that Dad was being given.. Also, to ensure getting the phone to him when I called. I am most thankful to Abilene Regional Medical Center for the VIP treatment given my Dad.. Which is how ANYONE of us would hope to, and should be treated. Thank you!
The care here sucks it takes an hour to get any help even for something as simple as a cup of ice water! there is only one CNA on the 4th floor 90% of the time!
At least I have a $2000 ER bill to remember the good times I used to have. #sarcastic
Went to the ER here about a year ago complaining about pain and numbness in my arms, legs, and abdomen. Waited for seven and a half hours, I was examined for a “stroke”. When the second test came back negative I was discharged with a diagnosis of neuropathy. Saw a nurse practitioner about a week later and she was amazed they didn’t have a doctor check me out or have a mri done.
