Example, $39.99 on used men’s shoes. They put $1.99 over a $2 dollar general sticker on pumpkins (yes, they want what they sold new for), I saw a mirror for $99.99. When I asked if this was a mistake, I was told that the managers can’t even change a price if it seems unreasonable. Mind you this was a large mirror, but older and not really in style.

When I complained about the price change, I stated that if they aren’t going to charge what is advertised then I don’t want it, they just throw it back into the bin behind them with a sour look on their face. Terrible customer service.
Even more concerning are the unfriendly policies. No returns. Yet, they really aren’t testing to make sure items are functional. I recently bought a toy for $10. Got it home, put new batteries in it, and it didn’t work. I’m out $10. Also, if something does lose its price tag, they won’t sell it to you! They want to take it to the back for “processing” again! Ridiculous.
Lastly, they frequently try to over charge. There are signs on the floor stating prices. For example, in the children’s department, it states that children’s t-shirts are .99. Yet, when you get it up front, you are told that since it is long sleeve, it will be $1.99. I have been told since it was a T-shirt with design it will be a “blouse/shirt” and $2.29. Really??? I think we all know what a T-shirt is. If you want to charge more, make sure that the pricing listed reflects that! Don’t change the price at the register!

Recently the southside Goodwill has had almost a complete turnover of employees (especially cashiers). For the most part, they are rude and unhelpful.
Abilene's newest location quickly became my favorite! Besides massive building, the store is kept super organized and every employee has been awesome.
I have been an avid shopper at Goodwill stores, especially this southside location. Unfortunately, it has really gone downhill. The prices have skyrocketed. Simply put, they have started to get greedy.
