Start off by being seated then having to move but that's fine. Them get our salad and mine has a hair in it which ruined my entree the shrimp cooked so long it was like rubber my daughter salmon overcooked it was hard and dry and my other daughter's steak she couldn't eat from being well over cooked and it was suppose to be medium. Now I'm not one to complain much but 107 dollars for food that couldn't be eaten is a bit ridiculous defiantly won't be going back as this was our choice of Japanese steakhouse bonzai will have my business from now on as if the food isn't right they will make it right

So we are waiting for an extremely long time, when suddenly a tiny creepy man comes out with the waitress that just insulted us and hit on my date, and the man can't speak English and asks what the problem is again after we had already been through this. Apparently he is the owner?
The moment we came in we were rushed to a table. The waiter asked for our order before we were seated with no chance to look at the menu. Drinks were warm food was greasy and not what we'd ordered. My husband asked for medium rare steak... it arrived over cooked... our tab said *Medium Well*
Well 10 minutes later the other manager that offered our refund in the beginning comes back and said they weren't actually going to refund and he didn't know what he was talking about when he offered it to us to begin with! We spent $50 in this place to leave with a cut lip, hungry, insulted, and with no compensation for how horrible it was! This place is a nightmare! The food was inedible, worst staff experience we've ever experienced, DO NOT GO HERE!
Bonsai can take our business.
First, my date cut his mouth on something that was green and black and seemed like chunks of sharp hard plastic all in his food. So it was inedible. THEN! We try to fix that, and the waitress has the nerve to HIT ON MY DATE IN FRONT OF ME. She asks both of us if I was my DATE'S MOTHER, BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT HE WAS HOT!? What!? It was shocking how awful our experience was getting. We both dropped our jaws at this weird girl having the nerve to ask that and how odd and inappropriate that response was to us explaining he cut his mouth on sharp plastic IN HIS FOOD and it was not edible! She then runs off laughing! It was so bizarre!
We knew quality had gone downhill since they've started doing "Fusion" cuisine. The sushi has shrunk since our last visit. The waiter didn't know what Ginger Sauce was.... and on top of being pounced on for orders the moment we came in I literally had to chase him down to get a refill on water to wash down our bearly edible food. I found him in a corner on his cell phone playing games.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! New management, Totally different place than it used to be! AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT! NOTICE ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS IN THE PAST MONTH!
Little Ninja is half the price of this place's over "food" and way better quality! I highly recommend them! Bonsai is a good one too! Use them and avoid this place!
THEY CAN MAKE ANYTHING ON THE MENU GLUTEN FREE!!!! I REPEAT GLUTEN FREE!!! Super delicious. I personally had the Shrimp Bento Box Lunch with Cold Vietnamese Coffee. Both were superb! I went in with a party of 7 on a busy summer day, received excellent service and wonderful food. The staff is very friendly and personable. Everyone was satisfied with their food. The Hibachi's (though we didn't sit at them) seemed very inviting and fun. The children and group of airmen there both enjoyed the show with their food. Would recommend to anyone. And bonus: THEY CAN MAKE ANYTHING ON THE MENU GLUTEN FREE
As we were eating several cock roaches ran across the table next to us and the people got up and left. The staff came out killed them and left the table uncleaned after the incident. Our soup had no flavor. The sushi roll was terrible. Our cook at the hibachi grill had no personality and never spoke to us. Waitress couldn't hardly understand us either. Then we received our bill and they had added 18% tip charge for our party of 2 adults and 2 children. It was terrible experience over all. DO NOT EAT THERE!!
I think we are done giving this place a chance.
We tell him again, he barely spoke English so it didn't even translate, the waitress laughed about it while "apologizing" and said we should take it as a compliment!!?? Then they both walk off. By this time we are both shocked and frustrated.
The atmosphere consists of dull lighting giving everything a mustard tint. They were playing bad rap and R&B from the late 90s early 2000.
So we asked to speak to the manager, complained about the food having plastic in it and how insulting and bizarre the staff was; in which they offer to refund us our money and apologize.... and then changed their mind!! We didn't even care about the refund, but wanted some accountability there and this was getting ridiculous!
