Food was scrumptious and the staff very friendly. We had the chicken fry and the 3 meat plate (brisket, pulled pork, jalapeno cheddar sausage). Sides were green beans, scalloped cheese taters, cole slaw and tater salad. Taking home a bunch and some peach cobbler and banana pudding. Can't wait to come back and try the fried cheese.
Homecooked Comfort Food...yummy, yummy in my tummy. I had the chicken fried chicken, which was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Cheesy scalloped potatoes were like eating fresh on the farm, and the homemade peach cobbler topped off my lunch with the perfect amount of crispy crust and soft sweet peaches. Hubby had the brisket with their BBQ sauce and homemade potato salad. Smokey flavor was delicious and tender. 5 stars from me, highly recommended to get off the freeway and make this a must stop eatery.
My first visit here I enjoyed the Brisket Tacos. They were cooked perfect, great smoke flavor, lots of veggies, topped off with cheese. The waitress who took my order was very nice, greeted me as soon as I came in. Upon finishing my plate another friendly employee asked to remove my plate and suggested the homemade banana pudding for dessert. It was delicious. I had thought it would be like the normal crammed with whipped cream like everyone else serves, but this was unlike any banana pudding I had ever eaten. The texture was creamy and the wafers were perfectly softened. It was not overly sweetened either. No whip cream thank god. This pudding does not need it because it was perfectly made to exact perfection. It was the best homemade pudding i have ever tasted in 35 years. Simply the best. I will definitely be a regular customer.
Wow! What a place! A few traveling friends and I decided to stop in for an authentic late night meal. Couldn't have found a better place! The meat plates are incredible, huge meat portions and sides. Food was prompt and delicious, and the service was was just as great. Super lovely staff which made the experience 11/10. Could not recommend this place more! Wish I didn't live so far away so I could make this my number 1 local spot. Keep it up guys!
Excellent 5 Stars! Generous portions and fall off the bone ribs! Nothing worse than dry dull meat but this place doesn't have that very tasty and moist! Their cheesy scallop potatoes are to die for tasted just like mama use to make! Great service as well you won't be disappointed!
