This place is a joke! I thought we were being pranked they're extremely over priced my husband chose the brisket plate they gave him 3 thin slices of brisket (that was super dry and bland) on a styrofoam plate! Then they had the nerve to say you can grab ANY amount of sides you wish, all they had were some cold a** plain "mashed potatoes" . Beans that taste like they literally opened the can and just threw the beans and juice into a bucket the green beans tasted exactly the same, the jalapeno corn tasted eh fairly decent the chicken had no taste to it at all, like they slapped it on a grill for 2 secs and that's it. Bbq plates were 11.99 and 14.99 for brisket i ordered a kids meal for 7.99 and they gave my daughter what looked like scraped up chicken thigh pieces(5 tiny chopped pieces) from the bottom of the pot. My total was $45.00 for 2 plates a kids meal 2 drinks and a side of chicken my husband ended up throwing away. They have "3" bbq sauces that ALL taste the same except the vinegar one that taste like they just added water to it. Cornbread taste like hard flour. if you were sitting at our table you would say it looked like what we had was worth $20 at most! It was quite ridiculous that was my first and last time going there!!
Good food....nice staff..., but overpriced by bout $2.00 a meal....plus you buy drink....
A free simple peach cobbler would sweeten the deal. About 5 years ago the prices brought in multitudes. Good BarbQ though
Must try BBQ in Abilene. Even if you only get potato salad, it's the greatest thing ever to made with a potato. The meat is traditional BBQ and is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Overpriced, small portions, ok taste, outdated environment, jalopeno corn is sloppy. Rip off!
Oh WOW !! Their food is great. I heard George Busch liked their food and I can see why. The brisket is very tender - no knife is needed. The potato salad was my favorite side. It seemed whipped. Whatever it is, it was delicious. They have warm bread too. My sons loved it and I loved it. We go up to Abilene a few times a year. For sure we will go back to Sharon's next time we are in the area.
