Dr.Megan Charowski, is absolutely amazing with my kids, she keeps her cool when my kids are screaming bloody murder, as she's checking/cleaning their teeth..as well as trying to talk to us, while my kids are still screaming bloody murder..my kids are 3yo & 17months old..& the staff is also AMAZING, the girls are always so friendly, even when they get a not so very happy adult..I recommend, to anyone who is looking for a great dentist & staff.. thanks ladies
Back in February we took our 2 year old daughter to her second dental appointment at a different office, at the time I was 7 months pregnant. It was a horrible, everything we did was wrong. They wanted to do some dental procedure on her which would require her to go to the hospital and be put under. We talked to the office and they said it would take at the least 6 months to schedule this procedure. Last week we were on vacation and my sweet girl was running, tripped and fell on her face, she hit her mouth and moved at least one tooth that I could see. We had already decided to go to a different dentist, so I called Children's Dentistry of Abilene Friday morning. They got us an appointment for Monday morning first thing. My husband had to work so I took our 2 year old and 10 week old by myself, the office staff was AMAZING!!! At one point both of my babies are crying and I'm trying to fill out paperwork, but everyone was so nice. They really worked with me. When we were called back and the dentist came in, she actually talked to my girl and tried to calm her down. She showed her what she was using the look at her teeth, my sweet girl still cried but it was the effort I appreciated. When she was done my sweet girl said "I did it!" and was so proud of herself, the dentist praised her and my girl was super happy the rest of the time (at the last place when they were done she still cried/screamed until we left, it was so hard and no one really helped to calm her down). At one point they called in another staff member to help with my baby, just so incredibly sweet! We were giving the same information about her teeth (just adding the fall and what needs to happen) but the delivery was so much better, I did not feel like I was being put down as a mother or made to feel like a bad mom (believe me I was already doing that and did not need help). The dentist explained a lot more of the reasons why and what was going on with my girls teeth. We met with the scheduler for her procedure at the hospital (now remember the last place said it would take 6 months) here they could schedule her procedure for next week, they called her doctor to schedule a physical to be released for surgery. Talked us through everything and were so understanding and patient with me and my two kiddos. I'm so incredibly glad that we changed dentist to Children's Dentistry of Abilene!!! I would recommend this office to everyone, the staff is awesome the dentist (the one we saw) was amazing and the place is so calm and inviting. I just am so happy we found a great place for my babies!!!
From the staff to Dr.Megan everything was an AMAZING experience! Dr.Megan listened to every word i had to say in regards to my daughter. She also answered every single question i had. I took my daughter for a 2nd opinion here and thank the Lord i did. My daughter loved everything as well from the toys in the waiting room to the staff in the back to Dr.Megan's funny, silly stories. She felt absolutely comfortable with everything. Thank you to the staff and huge thank you yo Dr . Megan for truly loving her job and children because you can sure tell you do!!!

Staff was amazing with my 8 year old that my 2 year old wanted to sit in the big kids chair & did amazing as well. Neither cried and want to come back again. Dr. Explained everything and answered all my questions.
The BEST pediatric dentist in all of the big country! Very child oriented and focused on the children. Both of my kids have had "bad" days and the dental assistants and the dentist herself did everything to make my child happy. Very community oriented and aa well known dentist in all family households! Will forever be the dentist I send everyone to! Thank you for everything you do!
Very clean office/ waiting area. My children enjoyed the tablets in the waiting room.
I just love this place, my kids do too..they enjoy looking out the big glass windows at all the animals, playing the toys & the tablets..
