Day of appointment, at check in, I asked AGAIN.....my total, out the door price is $389? "Yes", she giggled, "only $389."
Check out time......I prepare to pay my "$389" when I'm told. "$852." SCREECHING TIRES (I hear in my head) WHAT?! The gal leans back, where she can't be seen by co-workers and says quietly. "It's not my fault, I'm so sorry, they do this all the time." I asked to speak with the manager, whom I was told had left to retrieve her sick son, from school. I suggested she get her on the phone, she did and handed me her phone. I'm told, by the manager, how sorry she is and it's a simple mistake that she can quickly recalculate and get me a better number, she does and comes up with a new total and plan "$600 and that includes sending the mold of your tooth to the lab and installing new tooth." I stated, the old plan and price included ALL of that and was $389!!
Good luck folks, I, sincerely, wish you the best.....but the best isn't here @ Abilene Family Dentistry.
I refuse to budge and they are NOW threatening my credit.
Dr. Awtrey and his staff are always so friendly, wonderful, and accommodating! Highly recommend them to anyone! They make dental work painless!

Finally found a good dentist in town! Adam is great, and his dental assistant was amazing. Did a great and careful job with my filling.
To which she states "That's the best I can do, but we'll be glad to put that new tooth in when the balance is paid." WTH?!!?
At 50 years young, having NEVER had any major dental issues, found through my general dentist that I was in need of a root canal.
These folks are holding my tooth for ransom!!!!
Abilene Family Family Dentistry is professional and kind. Having moved alot during my life, I've been to many different dentists. This office treats you like family and really care. I'd refer them to anyone!
Having full insurance coverage, called these folks for pricing and was told "$389.00". I checked AND double checked that this amount would be the TOTAL amount I would pay upon completion....I was not only assured but reassured that "$389.00 is, in fact, your grand total upon completion." Appointment made.
Procedure goes well, tech is outstanding, no pain, I couldn't have been more relieved!
