Which is NOT True! I had gotten there at 5:30 and they close at 6:00. They should service someone until 6:00. Not shove them away because they want to get home early. They should also speak to there customers with some respect too. I won't waste my time here again and will share my experience with everyone.
I had an excellent experience at STAR. Initially, I found a vehicle on the web site I called the dealership and spoke with a sales person, discussed the price. The next day I drove up from San Angelo met with the salesperson, checked out the car and completed the purchase in approximately 30 min. I could not have hoped for a better experience. There was no bait and switch like at other dealerships . I look forward to doing business with STAR again in the future. It was well worth the drive!
I had a small problem when a check engine light came on while we were driving through the area on our way to vacation with 3 small children and our Mr. Buttons (our black lab) We spoke to the general manager and he welcomed us all inside the store. They got us in and out and back on our way in a little more than an hour. It was a fantastic experience all around I truly appreciate your help and efficiency in getting us back on the road and headed for the ranch in a hurry.

Service... not so much.
I got a letter saying I could get a free oil change and called the service department to see if I could get it done then. The person on the phone said " Of course, come on down and we will take care of you. " So I drive to the dealership and stand there waiting for 10 minutes for someone to help me and finally a guy walks up and says very rudely "What are you trying to have done?" I showed him the letter and said I just wanted to get an oil change and he rudely said " We can't do that, we close in 5 minutes".
Drove an hour and a half from San Angelo to get my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced. My tire sensors were not registering the PSI. I had called my local dealership where I bought my jeep which only had 14000 miles on it. I wanted to know if they were covered under warranty. I was told the cost would be $99.99 just to have it looked at. I called Star Dodge and spoke to Jon Haymond. Jon without hesitation told me yes that my tire sensors were covered. When I took my jeep in Jon was friendly and got me in on one of the busiest days of the week. He made sure that when I got my jeep back I was happy with the service performed. If you need anything I recommend that you go talk to Jon. He is the only person I will go to if there is another issue with my jeep.

Star Dodge took advantage of my 74 year old widowed mother. After spending $3200 to have my father's last pickup repaired (a 90 something Dodge) so that she could give it to her granddaughter...the truck ran less than 200 miles and was spitting out gunk and broke down on the side of the road. After keeping the car for months they towed it back to her yard (while she was away) and told her it was her problem. On social security and out of $3200! Granted she should have known better, that truck wasn't even worth that much running. But she trusted them because Dad (a pastor} did when he was alive. She loved that truck because it reminded her of him. I expect that kind of shadiness and callousness in the city, but never in ABILENE! Shame on you Star Dodge. This is a whole new level of low.
The customer care manager reached out to me wanting me to post a good review. I explain to her my prior situation and told her I would update my review if they were to make it right and give me my oil change I was due.
