Just drove 186 miles one-way to buy a car from Honda of Abilene. It was well-worth the time and travel. Everyone we encountered during our time there was friendly and helpful. Steve (sales mgr.) offered me a good deal by phone and in writing then followed up by sending a video he shot just for me. He greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. Patsey had all the paperwork ready and the car detailed when we arrived. She also walked me through the setup and answered all my questions. Other members of the sales staff were also friendly. The showroom and restrooms are bright and clean. A professional and proficient operation. I would not hesitate to go back and recommend this dealership highly.

Have been here twice both times were less than desirable experiences. First time was to look for a new car but never was shown the type of vehicle I was wanting to see. Eventually left after 2 hours of being shown everything but a CRV. Then was called every other day about buying a vehicle I told them I wasn't interested in. This went on for almost two weeks. Finally got them to stop calling me. Second time was to have my car worked on for a recall. I was told I could just come up there drop my car off and they would be able to give me a ride to where I needed to be. I dropped my car off and was told that I'd be given a ride shortly once they returned from somewhere else. I waited an hour and a half and still no ride. I had to be at work so I eventually gave up and walked. I won't be doing any business here any time soon. Went to a different dealership and purchased a new vehicle last week when they could have had the sell if the service wasn't so awful.
Went in and test drove a 2011 civic with about $2000 in body damage and offered a fair price considering the vehicles shape. They wanted nearly 12k which was clean retail and I offered them 8k. Mind you again it had body damage. Right off the bat they tried to add an extended warranty based on their perceived naivety of us at the tune of $2500 and tried to separate my wife and I, because they wanted to deal exclusively with her and take advantage of the fact she is woman and she is a first time buyer. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. Sexism check.
I absolutely loved my experience at the Honda of Abilene. I was really nervous purchasing a new car, but everyone there was willing to help me out. My sales rep, Itzel, was very professional and provided excellent customer service. She answered all my questions and concerns, which helped in my decision to purchase the Honda Civic SI.
