I was greeted immediately upon entering the store by an employee, then was asked by several different employees if I needed assistance. I asked an employee where I could find a particular item and was directed to exactly the right place. Every employee smiled and was ready to assist me. When I was ready to check out, a register was opened for me. Great customer service today!
Great place to get your items and associates always around to assist you in locating the item and some know the exact location.
For the last couple years (2015-2016) I almost stopped shopping here because of bad customer service. I've noticed the last two times I've been here (Fall of 2017) the staff is very helpful and friendly now. I don't know if they hired new people or re-trained, but it's getting better. I recently bought paint and two of the people in the paint department were very helpful. I also had a real nice man ask if I needed help in the housewares department. The lady that checked me out was super friendly. I do think they need to take better care of the plants in the garden department. I often see plants that have not been watered and are half dead. People in garden department are not friendly or helpful.
Would've been three stars if not for Ramon, he was a huge help. Took me to where I needed and helped me make a decision on which was best. I have a hard time finding things in The Home Depot. Great customer service though!
Personally, I love the home Depot but recently they do not price match items to what is on their site. Even the associate that helped me thought it was stupid and the manager would not match the price listed on thier own site. Really disappointed because you would assume they would. Even though they would not budge, the associate did his best to help me and I was proud of him doing his best and in the end he got me situated with another product. That's why I am giving them one star. If you cannot price match your own site and the best you can tell a dedicated customer is "you have to order it online to get that price" their is no hope for the longevity on this store front. Someone above the store manager needs to rectify this issue and take care of your customers. To the associate who helped me, you rock!
