Came into the ER at NTMC by EMS. I am a RN for 15 yrs and was having a heart attack. The bedside manner of Dr White was horrific and belittling telling me repeatedly I was NOT having a heart attack but a panic attack. My hands and feet were tingly and numb, I could not move my fingers to even sign consent for treatment. I was talked to and treated like a crazy person until my labwork came back and revealed i was indeed having an MI. Dr White never showed his face again and I was transferred to a higher level of care..( thank God)... where I underwent surgery the following day. He needs a lesson in listening to his patients. He was about to discharge me!!! When I arrived at the othe hospital my tropinin was 39. A 39 and he tried to minimize my chest pain. It's a shame what medicine has become. Do NO HARM!
