Not the best place to get a battery considering the type of people that own it.
They came out and replaced my battery, the guy was very nice and i was up and running. Will use them again if I have another problem.
The owner, Harry Hawthorne, was away at court due litigation involving a family member, Patrick Hawthorne (former Anson Chief of Police), and I was given conflicting statements on an estimate for his return.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! A simple battery change by these people turned my car into an electrical mess. Be warned. Ownership of this business has been transferred and it is not the same Nichols customers assume. The technician, Mindy, messed up a simple battery installation which resulted in blown fuses that I had to pay for out-of-pocket.

Point is, If you are looking for professional, honest and ethical technicians with integrity, they are not at Nichols anymore.
The operations manager, Derek Palivec was no help at all and became extremely smart aleck when presented with this problem. He refused to give his name when I told him I was reporting this experience to the BBB (suspicious). The only reason I knew his name was from an earlier conversation we had. Apparently, Derek didn't think I could remember a conversation from thirty-minutes ago.
