It is very crowded during games but very nice
A great facility. I watched flag football and 8 year old game. The kids had on their Wylie uniforms and really had good games.
Well organise and clean environment
Very nice school
My daughter attended Wylie Middle School and continued on to Wylie HS, where she was in the honor band, playing French Horn. The band was a saving grace.... The students ELSEWHERE at WHS, are a "mini-me" of their parents, and are some of the most snottiest, hateful people I've ever run into - - and we're a long time military family (Army and Navy). They always told my daughter, "You can't afford to live around here, because you don't even have a Dad!" - - - because I ended up as a single mom when my husband oa 17 years walked out on our family - - I still couldn't tell you where he is... It was the BAND that helped her through SO many heartbreaks... Because the Band Director (who is now no longer there), Mike Lunney, is the most wonderful person you'd ever want to know... The band community is a WONDERFUL family... I stayed in the Wylie district BECAUSE of the band... Even though it's a more expensive area and district to live in, I'd have moved hell and high water to keep her in that band... I've got so many memories of the Wylie Bulldog Stadium.... It's a BEAUTIFUL stadium!! The only thing I think is missing is actually an overhead cover of some sort on the home side, for folks in inclement weather... My daughter knows every inch, divot, bump, you name it--of that field... It's a GREAT stadium and hosts numerous marching band competitions, great concessions, wicked jumbo tron... It's beautiful and an excellent stadium for just about any venue! My daughter is now ready to graduate college soon, and even after she graduated WHS, I actually used to do all of the videograpy for the marching band (almost 5 years I volunteered to do this), going everywhere these wonderful kids went, and would make an awesome DVD that we'd show at the end of the year band banquet!! This stadium... Is a beautiful stadium, and holds the stories of so many wonderful kids up in the bandstand... My daughter just did an exhibition show (marching), last week... Many memories came flooding back... Some of the BEST memories that will ALWAYS be a part of our family, happened in this stadium, in the marching band section of the bleachers.. The band stand... Bulldog Stadium is a great stadium... Maybe you'll make some special memories too, if you ever have the chance to go there!!!
