We reported a little girl who was 15 years old and dating a 21 year old and that someone reported the mothers 29 year old boyfriend had sex with her daughter neither this police department nor the landlord did any kind of investigation even though there were witnesses its very disgusting. And these types of reports should not be passed up....
Rude-obnoxious uneducated Police Officers that lack leadership. This PD needs a new Chief that will lead his staff and not tolerate abuse and corruption within the PD. Current Chief is not getting the job done.
TODAY RAN OUT OF GAS COMING IN FROM WEATHERFORD. BRUTALLY HOT. RAN OUT OF GAS IN THE LEFT TURN LANE DOWNTOWN BY THE ART TREE SCULPTURES. HAD TO LEAVE THE CAR TO ATTEMPT TO WALK HOME. THAT WASN'T GOING TO WORK. SO I CALLED OUTLAWS AUTOMOTIVE ON 1ST TO PLEASE BRING GAS. GOD SPOKE TO MY HEART AND TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO MY CAR WHIC I DID AND OFFICER WOOD WAS THERE. I RISKED HAVING MYCAR TOWED, BUT OFFICER WOOD LISTENED AND ALLOWED ME TO WAIT FOR OUTLAWS. HE EVEN CALLED TO CONFIRM FOR ME THAT THEY WERE COMING. OUTLAWS SENT THEIR WRECKER , GOT THERE , ROY THEIR DRIVER PUT MY CAR AND ME ON THE WRECKER TOOK ME TO A GAS STATION. PUT THE GAS IN THE CAR, PRIMED THE CAR AND GOT ME ON MY WAY. THESE OUTCOMES ARE SOME OF THE MOST GRACIOUS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN ABILENE. THE POLICE AND OUTLAWS WENT OUT OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES TREATING ME GRACIOUSLY. I WAS HAPPY TO MEET OFFICER WOOD AND OF COURSE OUTLAWS AUTOMOTIVE . NOT ANOTHER GARAGE IN TOWN WHO MEETS PROFESIONAL PROTOCOLS AND OUTCOMES THAT STAY REPAIRED.. KUDOS TO OFFICER WOOD AND THE OTHER TWO OFFICERS WHO DID SHOW UP AND OUTLAWS AUTOMOTIVE.
I worked with these guys for 2 weeks on their software , they are a good agency. They strive to make everything work as perfect as a public safety department should .
God bless these guys. Slowly improving this town really isn't that bad. It has its periods from time to time. Traffic accidents seem to be the most common issue here and probably the most time consuming as well. Many things play a factor in how these guys handle certain situations sometimes they might not respond to your call right away or they will and might not stay long. But the presence of the law was made known and I'm sure at times there are more important things going on around the city. I appreciate what they do and I hope they continue doing what they do best. I've seen several with crosses hanging from there mirrors and it makes me feel better as a citizen to see that they recognize the lord. you give thanks and praise and fear no man but god. You don't really have much to be afraid of. I believe everyone makes mistakes it doesn't mean it's the end of the world it just means you gotta get up dust yourself off and keep moving when I get myself situated I wouldn't mind applying at this police department I've lived a rough life but I'm fortunate enough to still be here and I learned to appreciate the things other people do for you. I want you guys to know I am proud of y'all and that I really look up to y'all as well. Your job is a dream to other people like me. Pride your self and treat yourself. Know that when other people are giving you a hard time and making you feel like you're doing something awful. There are people like me that know you are doing what you get paid to do. We are all people regardless of race ethnicity job title year make and model of the vehicles we drive... Lol Some might look at things differently then others but the truth is change places and tell me how you would have dealt with it any better.. Keep up the good work and keep god in your heart...
