Incredibly professional staff would not let me leave unless my nails were perfect! Super relaxing atomosphere highly recommend!
The man who was doing my nails was very very rude to me and acted like he didn't want to do my nails. He was rough with my hands and did not respond when I tried talking to him. I went in needing a nail fixed and a color changed on my acrylic nails. He fixed my nail fine, but when it came to the polish I chose a design that was one of theirs. I asked him to do the exact same design there were two colors in it, just switch one of the colors. He said that's fine they could do that, but whenever he started doing my nails he was doing it way different than the design that was sitting right next to us. All said and done my nails ended up looking like a child's picture you hang on the fridge. He ended up charging me 17 dollars to fix one nail and for a polish change with a couple designs. I thought this was pretty steep seeing as though the customer service part of the visit was not good. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially ones like me who are very OCD and particular about how their nails look. I'm usually not the kind of person to write reviews or put a business down, but I truly felt like the whole experience was bad. Hope this helps!!
I went here to get eyelash extensions. Paid a total of $50 bucks. After she put them on, my eyes burned for three hours. I could barely open them to pay. I asked a friend to come get me as driving wasn't an option due to not being able to keep my eyes open due to the pain. I called back today and explained what happened, and told them I wanted them removed. No apology, and they charged me to remove them. I WILL NOT be coming back or referring them. Why would I spend $65 dollars on a very painful experience? It's supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. #unhappycustomer
I went to YSL Nails on South 14th Tuesday, May 2nd to get my false nails removed. First i waited quite awhile before anyone even asked me what I needed. Then the woman that ended up helping me shouted to me while still working on someone else's nails. The lady literally ripped my nails off. As she was doing it, I was flinching and pulling away. She kept asking if I was ok and if it hurt, and I kept telling her it hurt really bad. She just said "No, no. You're fine." I left yesterday with three bleeding nails, one of which you can literally see when my skin was torn off. I cried the entire drive home. I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon.
I am a long-time customer. Me and my daughter had received poor service this past Saturday, but the owner made it right. With that said I am changing my review to five star. Because in my opinion it is a five star salon.
